Does not play videos in the background, like the one review claims, just an fyi. Does not allow you to change video quality, which I was fond of in the old app. Does not let you go to channel profiles, which can be tedious. All of this the old app had :/ plus I dont want to sign in.

I used Tubex becuz it let me choose the vid quality and listen to the vid as a BGM. But the new ver. doesnt have those features at all but has tons of ads.. Very dissappointing.

First off, for all the people who saying this app is terrible because you can’t play videos in background, the developer isn’t doing this to be mean to you. Thanks to youtube’s terms he had to remove the background play feature. What does this app still offer you ask? How about the ability to change speed, filter videos via categories or countries,, sorry if this isn’t enough to satisfy your uneducated soul so you blame everyone else. Have a good day!

This app is very well made, in my experience the app loads high quality videos extraordinarily faster than the default YouTube app, this app doesnt have the option to play video from the background but that doesnt bother me, I use this because its very fast. I believe its because of Google/youtubes garbage license agreement, its not the app creators fault that background play wasnt implemented. Five stars, best YouTube app. I havent had any problems with ads either.

I wanted to play YouTube content in background. This works fine.

Many ads and bugs around. You guys better close the shop and go back your homes

TubeX allowed you to play YouTube videos in the background. This does not, if youre looking for an app to play music from YouTube in the background this is not it.

Does nothing to disguising itself from the native YouTube app, includes intrusive ads to line its developers wallet, and takes away multiple features that made tubex good.

No way to get to sub box. Once you open a video it just sits on your screen and there is absolutely nothing you can do to get rid of it.

I was a long time user of the original Tubex by the same dev. When I got a message saying his email account was hacked and this was the new version I downloaded it. However its missing a lot of Tubex features like the option to slow and fast motion videos. A sleeping timer. Whats even more depressing is the amount of ads. For every video you watch you have to wait 5 seconds for the pop up ad to let you continue. Theres no option to buy the app to remove the ads either.
